From December 4 to 20, 2026, the Christmas market opens its gates every Thursday through Sunday and invites you to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
On December 4 at 4 PM, the Christmas market and "Advent in den Rosenhöfen" will officially open with the traditional cutting of the stollen by Mayor Torsten Schweiger, Rose Queen Meike I., and Rose Princess Amy Melina I.
The Sangerhausen city center transforms into a Christmas town with illuminated streets, open shops, and courtyards.
