Description

In the new theater project "Set the Table – Between Fairy Tale and Reality," we embark on a creative quest between autobiographical truth and fairytale fantasy.

Inspired by the well-known Grimm’s fairy tale "The Wishing Table," we explore questions about abundance and scarcity, dignity, anger, and self-empowerment.

Together, we develop a scenic-performative collage from personal experiences, memories, and fairy tale motifs. No prior knowledge is needed – just curiosity, openness, and a desire to try things out together.

What is it about?

We work with autobiographical stories, creative writing prompts, improvisation, movement, and symbols from the fairy tale. The focus is on personal expression: What is my own "little table"? Where have I "lost gold"? When do I "take my club out of the bag"?

Who is it for?

Anyone interested in creatively exploring their own biography. No theater experience required.
