Storytime with the Kamishibai Theater

Storytime with the Kamishibai Theater delights children from 3 years old at the Humboldt Library. In this special storytelling event, the Kamishibai combines visual narration with exciting read-aloud sessions – thanks to large-format picture card sets in DIN A3 size.

The Reinickendorf City Library offers a diverse and constantly growing selection of Kamishibai picture card sets. Many fairy tales and stories are included, some suitable even for the very youngest from 1 to 3 years old, such as 'The Bremen Town Musicians' or 'The Turnip'.

• The Kamishibai wooden theaters can be borrowed for up to 4 weeks.

• Picture card sets are available for up to 2 weeks – reservations are possible.

• The read-aloud sessions take place regularly on Wednesdays.
