The Nutcracker

For over 100 years, Peter Tschaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" has enchanted audiences worldwide – becoming an indispensable part of the Advent and Christmas season. Now, a renowned Italian ensemble from the "cradle of European dance" brings this masterpiece of classical ballet back to the stage in a particularly tender production.

The story follows Clara, who on the magical night of Christmas embarks on a wondrous journey into a world full of fantasy, adventure, and romance – accompanied by living puppets, battling armies of mice, and a charming prince at her side. The production captures this timeless fairy tale world and blends it with a sensitive touch of modern choreography and expressive stage language.

Audiences can expect a visually and musically stunning experience: magnificent costumes, a meticulously designed set, and a top-tier ballet cast whose training and dance precision are felt from the very first scene. Tschaikovsky’s timeless music forms the emotional heart of the performance.

Especially during the Christmas season, "The Nutcracker" is more than just a ballet – it is a gateway to a world where miracles are possible. For one evening, we are allowed to believe: Anything can happen – especially when love is involved," says the artistic director of the ensemble.
