Weihnachtsmarkt Weilburg 3rd Advent

The Christmas market in Weilburg enchants on the third and fourth Advent weekends with a very special charm.

In the marketplace, a Christmas-decorated village spreads out under the sparkling canopy of lights, inviting you to stroll, discover, and linger.

In the lovingly decorated wooden huts, visitors will find a wide variety of crafts and gift ideas.

The offerings range from handcrafted jewelry, wood, fabric, and plaster decorations to natural soaps, candles, Christmas decorations, self-sewn and knitted items, small artworks, and other lovingly made unique pieces. Regional and special delicacies such as honey, vinegar and oil, liqueurs, gourmet foods, and other homemade specialties also invite you to browse.

Of course, culinary enjoyment is not forgotten: classics like bratwurst, fries, potato pancakes, and crepes meet churros, cheese spaetzle, rösti, Kaiserschmarrn, goulash soup, and other savory and sweet treats. There are also waffles, baked apples, and various Christmas sweets. Winegrowers’ mulled wine and different mulled wine creations, children’s punch, hot apple juice, and other winter beverages provide cozy warmth. Hot Aperol, mulled gin, and winter spritz variations offer some special alternatives to classic mulled wine.

A special experience awaits visitors on both Advent weekends: Our 'Princess Henriette' visits the Christmas market on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 to 6 pm. During this time, she is happy to pose for photos together. And if you wish, you can enjoy a little fairy tale magic with her: Princess Henriette tells the story of the Christmas tree and how it came from Weilburg to Austria.
