Winter in Haithabu for Families

In winter, the people of Haithabu would gather around their warm fires, sharing stories from the summer and preparing trade goods for the year ahead. This museum event for children and their (grand)parents continues that tradition. After exploring the exhibition, stories are told and you get hands-on: decipher runes and decorate a leather bracelet with them.
