How ranking works on Yayando
The order of places and events is never for sale. Here is what decides it, and how we mark what is paid.
What decides the order
Match
How well a place or event fits what you searched for: words, category, age and date.
Distance
Closer to you, or to the city you are looking at, comes first.
Time
Events coming up soon rank above events far away in time.
Completeness
Pages with photos, opening hours and prices help families decide, and rank higher.
What can be bought, and what cannot
Cannot be bought: the organic order of search results, category pages, city pages and the map.
Can be bought: separate sponsored slots, newsletter mentions and partner offers. Each one carries a “Sponsored” or “Partner offer” label, and you can always see who paid for it.
Questions about ranking
Does paying for a plan improve my ranking?
No. Plans add features; they do not move you in the organic order.
Do reviews or ratings affect the order?
Not today: Yayando has no reviews yet.
