A hot air balloon ride with Adventure Ballonteam offers the chance to experience the North Eifel from a unique perspective. At an altitude of 500 to 1000 meters, you’ll enjoy an impressive view of the landscape, from treetops down to the villages. This experience is available year-round, with flights in spring and fall limited to morning and evening hours because of thermal conditions. In winter, however, flights can also take place during the day to enjoy the snow-covered scenery. After landing, the traditional balloon baptism is celebrated, giving the experience a stylish finish.

Safety is the top priority, and passengers receive expert guidance from the start. The entire event lasts about four to five hours and includes setting up the balloon, weather checks, and the baptism ceremony. Children aged 12 and older, with a minimum height of 1.30 meters, are allowed to fly – passenger fitness is key. People with heart or circulatory conditions or other health restrictions should consult beforehand. Fear of heights is not a problem since the basket remains stable and you won’t feel dizzy.
