Akva Tera ZOO Plzeň

At Akva Tera in Plzeň, a world of water and land awaits you 🐠. The aquarium and terrarium showcase freshwater and marine residents, along with a diverse collection of fish, amphibians, reptiles, invertebrates, and other cold-blooded vertebrates. Following a complete renovation in 2001, modern exhibits bring many interesting species right up close to you.

Regular narrated feedings and demonstrations take place, explaining the animals' lives and care. Each week a different animal group takes center stage, including:

• Lizards

• Snakes

• Turtles

• Frogs

• Tarantulas

Experienced animal keepers advise on the husbandry and care of many species, which is especially helpful for families with pets and animal-loving children. The program is aimed at children aged 3 to 15.
