Techmania Science Center

At the Techmania Science Center, physics becomes an adventure 🚀: about 14 interactive exhibits invite you to explore natural phenomena yourself and discover how nature and technology work.

In the science shows, things are blown up, frozen, or set spinning, so formulas become easy to grasp in a very practical way. The Tesla coil is especially impressive: it regularly produces lightning-like discharges and shows how low voltage becomes high voltage.

• 3D Planetarium with immersive shows and new projection technology for high-resolution views of planets and distant galaxies
• Science On a Sphere: a giant globe that seems to float in the air and is controlled by touch
• 3D cinema with comfortable bean bags for a different kind of movie experience full of discovery
• Makerspace with hand and power tools, soldering for simple electronics, and modern 3D printers

In the lab, you can put on white lab coats and examine things up close with lab sensors, lasers, and microscopes. There are also live animals, such as snails and stick insects 🔬.
