Description
Alter Elbpark in Hamburg is a historic public green space located between the Neustadt and St. Pauli districts. It is part of the historic Hamburg fortifications and links the northern park Planten un Blomen with the Stintfang, a prominent hilltop above the St. Pauli landing bridges. The park is dominated by the Bismarck monument, created in 1906 by sculptor Hugo Lederer. The name Alter Elbpark has been in use since 1906.
