At Seebruck on the north shore, the Alz leaves Lake Chiemsee and then follows its natural course through the "Alztal" nature reserve. In this first section from Seebruck to Truchtlaching, the flow is slow. Many tube riders, among others, appreciate this in the summer months (note: allowed from July 1) and often finish their trip at Alzbad.
