Aquantic Freibad Vienenburg

As early as 1929, an outdoor pool was built on Steinweg in Vienenburg. Today, it welcomes guests as a modern recreation center. The last major renovation took place in 2001. Rightly so, the city of Vienenburg calls its outdoor pool a ''leisure island for a few hours of vacation." The lush green of trees, shrubs, and flower beds creates the feeling of an oasis with two spacious lawns for sunbathing and shady spots under ancient trees. The pool features a combined sports and diving pool with six 25-meter lanes and a five-meter tower, a leisure pool (non-swimmers) with a large slide, and separate paddling pools for the smallest guests. The crystal-clear water in the stainless steel pools is heated in an environmentally friendly way (heat pump). The mud playground is especially popular with the youngest visitors. Water flows from a pump over different levels back into the sand. Here, kids can play in the mud for hours without causing any trouble. And when the time comes, children should learn to swim. Swimming lessons are offered at Freibad Vienenburg for children aged 6 and up. Plenty of free parking and bike racks, plus individual and group changing rooms with over 300 lockers, guarantee a hassle-free arrival. A kiosk ensures guests are well taken care of when it comes to food and drinks.
