The Archenhold-Sternwarte invites you on a fascinating journey through the universe. The highlight is the Great Refractor – the world's longest movable lens telescope with a 21-meter focal length, offering you extraordinary views of the night sky 🔭.
A special historical experience awaits in the Einstein Hall, where Albert Einstein gave his first public lecture on the General Theory of Relativity in 1915. The adjoining planetarium, with 31 seats, offers exciting astronomical shows that take you right into outer space.
At the Museum of Astronomy, you can take an intriguing journey through the history of astronomy – from its beginnings to modern space travel. Among other things, you can admire Berlin’s largest meteorite. Various telescopes such as the Cassegrain and Coudé telescopes, as well as the Solar Physics Cabinet, are available for exciting sky observations.
Families can benefit from an attractive family ticket for 2 adults and up to 3 children under 18 – perfect for exploring the cosmos together. Additionally, individual tours and special events are offered, especially suitable for school classes and groups (outside of school holidays), to make learning fun.
