Atelier Franz Politzer

Atelier Franz Politzer displays landscape paintings that have shaped his work for over forty years. 🎨

Particularly suitable for families is the collection Bilder vom Wesentlichen – a concentrated selection that, as a focused tour, makes the most important developmental steps in his work easy to follow.

The section Inszenierte Landschaft brings together key works up to about 2015; the series Landschaft als Bühne (from around 2011) shows theatrical, staged motifs that can spark children’s imagination. A specific example on site is the oil painting Der geteilte Himmel (2005, 29.6 x 31.3 cm).
