Basisstation Wasserquintett

The architecture of the Basisstation Wasserquintett building is notable for its integration into the historic railway embankment, which the bike path runs over. A terrace offers a broad view of the Wupper floodplain as well as the nearby recreation area, where there are places to sit and relax. Cyclists can find an e-bike charging station. Public restrooms are also available. On the upper floor, visitors can find comprehensive information materials including cycling and hiking maps, suggested routes, and a multimedia exhibit about the cultural landscape along the Wipper and Wupper rivers. The basis station also serves as a meeting point and starting point for groups.
