Bauhoftheater Braunau

The Bauhoftheater Braunau presents family theater and cultural programs with a special focus on children and young people.

The venue is known for the Braunauer Theatersommer – a recurring summer cultural program with its own family productions; the last production had neun Vorstellungen and drew around 1.900 Besucher:innen, showing strong local family response. 🎭

The theater also organizes the ART.ig Kunsthandwerksmarkt at Schloss Ranshofen, a seasonal market that often attracts families. The cross-border collaboration (around 65 members, almost half from Bavaria) creates regional and bilingual impulses. As recipient of the Kulturpreises 2025 the program is widely recognized.
