At Bergbaumuseum Mühlbach families can experience things hands-on: In the Hands-on 'Schaustollen' you learn how miners worked underground. 🔦
The museum tells over 4,000 years of mining history with finds from the Bronze Age to the present and displays a replica of the Nebra-Himmelsscheibe made from copper ore from Mühlbach.
There is also a diesel locomotive and field railway, a dedicated exhibition on Mühlbach's ski history and an Online-Virtual-Tour for exploring in advance. A new installation Winter 2025/2026 promises new presentations – a good reason to come back.
