Description
The Klettersteig Franzl is a long, continuous route – around 400 m long with about 210 m of elevation gain. It was opened in May 2012 and is named after its builder Richard Franzl. 🏔️
The difficulty is C–D – challenging sections for surefooted, fit climbers. The approach (together with the Kupfergeist) takes about 25 minutes from Hüttschlag. Those who like stories will enjoy the connection to local mountain legends: Franzl is part of a trio with Kupfergeist and Gletschergoaß. 🧭
