BernsteinSee Ferienwelt mit Badesee

The 9.5-hectare BernsteinSee, up to 16 meters deep, is located in Sassenburg-Stüde near Gifhorn on a traffic-calmed private property right on the Elbe-Seiten Canal in a picturesque forest, heath, and moor landscape.

The lake features a large sandy beach with fine-grained sand. It offers very clear water all year round and is considered especially clean according to regular official tests. Because of the sandy bottom, the lake water shimmers turquoise. Showers, restrooms, and beach ashtrays are available free of charge for swimmers. A separate beach club with shaded spots and lounge chairs (subject to availability) also offers a great view of the waterski facility.

Around BernsteinSee, many sports and leisure activities offer variety: a waterski facility with a 684-meter circular track, an adventure golf course, an archery course in a ten-hectare forest area in the northern part of the site, a riding stable, a soccer field, a bike rental (ONLY for guests staying on-site), and a bubble soccer rental. The beach volleyball, boules, and chess areas, the outdoor table tennis table, and the mini-library can all be used free of charge. Families will find a large pirate adventure playground with a zipline and a soccer meadow right on the beach.

There is also a glider airfield in the neighborhood.

For enjoyment, my Bernsteinsee gastronomy invites you with a restaurant, terraces, and a bar in the beach club. A covered grill area for groups can be rented. Overnight accommodations in different categories are available, including a 3-star hotel, modern beach bungalows, various holiday apartments on the site, and rustic log cabins in the natural forest.

BernsteinSee is also a popular venue for weddings and celebrations and a favored conference location.
