Description
Besselpark is located in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin's Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg borough, nestled within the block bordered by Bessel, Friedrich, and Encke streets. It was created in 1990 as an unnamed square and developed into a park during the 1990s. The park was named after the astronomer Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel, who worked at the nearby Berlin Observatory.
