The Bisonhof Hinteregger is a family-run farm in its fifth generation that has been breeding Plains bison since April 2018. 🦬 The bisons live Bison meat is very lean, high in protein and minerals free-range year-round and are fed exclusively with on-farm feed; a fully grown bull named Samuel is part of the herd. Bison meat is very lean, high in protein and minerals (iron, selenium, zinc) has a robust flavor from pasture and hay feeding and cooks faster than beef – lower cooking temperatures and longer resting are recommended.
