Bürgerwiese Marsberg

Description
Bürgerwiese Marsberg was designed as a multifunctional space that caters to the needs of different age groups. The design mainly uses natural materials and is divided into six distinct areas. A striking “Bürgerwiese” inscription carved into a tree trunk welcomes visitors. The site includes flower meadows, climbing hills, and crawl tunnels, as well as paved paths, balance beams, huts, treehouses, swings, and benches. Specific features such as hanging swings, a multi-person seesaw, a Hollywood swing, and wooden loungers by the barbecue area offer various options for relaxation. For active play, there is a sandbox, slide, spring animals, water games, a beach volleyball court, a tipi village, generation swings, a rope course, and a log mikado game. A stage platform is available for different types of events. For older visitors, three fitness machines—including one wheelchair accessible—are installed. The infrastructure is complemented by a snack bar, a kiosk, and restrooms in the nearby Diemeltal indoor pool.
