Description

Burg Penzlin attracts thousands of visitors every year with its historic architecture. Especially impressive are the knights' hall with its Gothic ribbed vaults and the black kitchen with its 12-meter-high chimney.

The museum focuses on fascinating topics like everyday magic, witchcraft, and the legal persecution of witches in Mecklenburg. Highlights include the torture cellar, the witch dungeon, and the permanent exhibition.

A special emphasis is placed on the cultural and historical significance of witchcraft and magic in political, literary, and art historical contexts – an exciting experience for the whole family.

There are guided tours every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm, offering a lively way to explore the castle together. 🏰
