Description

At Slawendorf Neustrelitz, an interactive world of experience awaits you – far more than just a museum! Here, dive into past times and experience history up close. 👋

During the season from April to October, you can discover and try out eight traditional crafts. Learn basket weaving, pottery, forging, soapstone carving, weaving, felting, candle making, or even make wooden weapons. Often, a small, handmade souvenir of your visit will be created.

At the archery range, you can test your accuracy – fittingly, as the name "Strelitz" derives from the Slavic word for "arrow"! The village elder, the Župan, will take you on an exciting journey through the village's history and the 700 years of successful paganism of the "Last Pagans of Europe".

Additionally, on weekends, up to 10 special events await you, including medieval markets, festivals, and captivating historical sagas. Come by and be enchanted! 🤩
