Description
At the Deichmuseum Land Wursten, you will discover the fascinating history of over 1000 years of dike building and coastal protection along the North Sea. Spanning around 500 m² over two accessible floors, you can explore six themed areas to see how people interact with their environment and protect their living space.
On display are original exhibits, detailed models of dikes and protective structures, as well as historical documents. Outside, there is even a dike construction locomotive with wagons that delights both young and old.
The media-supported tour for children ensures you can learn about the topic in a playful way. Children and youth up to 18 years enter for free – a great offer for families! 🌊
