Der Wilde Berg Mautern stretches over around 65 hectares and is home to about 300 animals – a large area you can explore as a family. Highlights include the daily birds of prey flight show with vultures, eagles, falcons and owls. 🦅
In the large outdoor play park you can slide, swing, play in the water and ride the carousel; in the indoor-Kinder-Stadl you'll find rope bridges, a tube slide, climbing areas, craft and quiet zones. A chairlift takes you up to about 1.100 meters – the ride up offers wide views over the enclosures.
With the Wiesengleiter and the Mountain-Kart you can enjoy thrilling downhill rides. You can also watch feedings, take part in hands-on offers like zookeeper for a day or attend seasonal guided tours (e.g. red deer rut); on site there is family-friendly catering and gift vouchers. 🎠
