Die Rheinauen bei Ingelheim

Right on the Rhine lies the Die Rheinauen bei Ingelheim nature reserve, offering visitors a wide range of recreational opportunities. Along 13 different stations, the Jungaue adventure trail provides information through display panels on topics related to the Rhine and its old river arms. It also covers species and habitat protection, as well as the annual floods. General information about the Rheinauen is also shared. Eight interactive elements playfully illustrate the goals of the adventure trail.

The regional Rhine Cycle Route runs through the almost mystical surroundings along the Rhine bank. From the newly redesigned harbor pier, you get a panoramic view of the Rhine and into the Rheingau. The boat tours “Rund um die Mariannenaue” and the ferry also begin their journeys from the harbor pier.
