Description

Dreieich-Park is a 43,500 m² public park located within the ring of green spaces at the western city limits of Offenbach am Main. It traces its origins back to the 2nd Hessian State Trade Exhibition of 1879. On the grounds of this park, originally called Grenzpark after the centuries-old nearby city boundary, are the oldest existing concrete buildings in Germany without steel reinforcement. The park is part of the Rhein-Main Regional Park and is designated as a cultural monument under the Hessian Monument Protection Act as part of the ring of green spaces.
