The Eifelmuseum – Erlebniswelten Grubenfeld offers an interactive exhibition experience for all ages – you are welcome to touch and explore!

Here you can discover life-sized millstones and try for yourself how much strength it takes to move them. You can also grind grain the traditional way and take your own flour home with you.

In the museum’s own classroom, good grades come through play instead of failure – a joyful way to learn and experiment.

To finish, an exciting treasure hunt in the Mayener Grubenfeld awaits: armed with a map and the museum mascot, Siggi the bat, you solve puzzles to show Siggi the way back to his family. A surprise from the treasure chest awaits as a reward! 🎁

For experienced treasure hunters, the trail “In the footsteps of Kunius Meurinus” leads through the former mining area – keen observation is needed in the "StoneTimes" exhibition.
