Eisenbahnwelten Rathen

The Eisenbahnwelten Rathen covers over 7,300 m² with a lovingly crafted miniature world featuring about 4,600 meters of track. Numerous trains run simultaneously on several levels, passing scale-model buildings, bridges, and landscapes – including well-known sights from the region.

The layout presents detailed reproductions of train stations, industrial facilities, and villages. Visitors experience top-level technology and model making – from rolling steam locomotives to mountain landscapes with functioning cable cars. The experience is complemented by an exhibition on railway history and a bistro overlooking the setup.

The paths throughout the layout are accessible for people with disabilities.

Saxon Switzerland Guest Card

Holders of the guest card receive a €1 discount on the entrance fee.
