Description

The Ems-Informationszentrum in Hövelhof offers an informative exhibition showcasing the scenic highlights along the Ems River. Visitors gain valuable insights into the local tourism options and can get to know the most important attractions in the region well before their trip. Especially captivating is the display of the Ems spring, a seepage source that continuously supplies water. Children particularly enjoy the interactive models that let them symbolically start the Ems or navigate a ship through the Ems barrier in Gandersum. Besides the exhibition, the information center also serves as a hub for cyclists and travelers: it offers parking, eBike charging stations, and an outdoor playground—perfect for families and nature lovers. The visit promises educational experiences with a hands-on and engaging approach that fits seamlessly into exploring the surrounding area.
