The Erdöl-Erdgas-Museum Twist offers you an interactive journey through the exhibition with state-of-the-art VR headset technology and a virtual touch table. This way, you experience fascinating films on the topics of oil and natural gas in a completely new way.
Also impressive are the approximately 100 historical photos from 1948 to 1956, showcasing the pioneering work in the regional oil industry – from road construction to residential development.
With over 450 m² of exhibition space on two levels, the museum is located right in the middle of Germany’s largest oil field – and presents many exciting exhibits in a technical setting designed by designers.
Outside, you can see and touch large components from oil and gas operations up close – making the visit especially vivid and authentic.
A free audio guide in German and Dutch supports families during the tour, providing a multilingual experience.
