Erlebnis Burgbau Friesach - Wir bauen eine Burg

At Erlebnis Burgbau Friesach you can see how an actual medieval castle is built. The project is being constructed without modern machines and demonstrates traditional craft techniques. 🔨

The construction is planned over about 40 years – children can follow a building that grows over years. On site there are workshops, seasonal activities like lime burning and powerful Noriker horses that support the work 🐴. The site functions as a historical laboratory where lost knowledge is tested and explained.
