Description
Experiminta is a science center, a kind of hands-on museum in Frankfurt am Main, which was opened on March 1, 2011, thanks to volunteer efforts. The museum features about 120 interactive experiment stations. Unlike most museums, trying things out and touching are explicitly encouraged here. It is run by the namesake supporting association. With around 90,000 visitors each year from all age groups, the science center is the ninth largest museum in Frankfurt am Main by visitor numbers.
