Fort Fun Abenteuerland

The amusement park "FORT FUN Abenteuerland" near Bestwig in Sauerland has established itself over more than half a century as a leading leisure destination in southwest Westphalia. It offers a blend of thrilling adventures and relaxing moments in nature, providing both adrenaline and relaxation, combined with a mix of classic attractions and ongoing new additions.

The park is set in the picturesque Sauerland mountain landscape and features a variety of attractions along with a program of events and performances. The design is primarily based on a Wild West theme and spans about 70 hectares. Offerings include roller coasters like the SpeedSnake FREE, water rides like the Wild River, the Trapper Slider summer toboggan run, a hang glider, a giant Ferris wheel, and an indoor play area. A new themed area, Yakari’s Valley, adds attractions such as "The Great Eagle’s Free Flight."

For a longer stay, the Fort Fun Adventure Camp is available, consisting of 24 Canadian-style log cabins located right by the park and in the forest. These accommodations offer the option of a nature-connected overnight stay without internet or TV.
