Freibad am Elm

Freibad am Elm in Hemkenrode offers visitors during the swimming season a 50m pool with a non-swimmer area, diving platforms at 1m, 3m, and 5m heights, as well as a wide slide. For the little guests, there is a heated children's pool. Relax and have fun on the spacious sunbathing lawn, an attractive playground, and a beach volleyball court. The adjoining soccer field also serves as a camping site and is popular with various groups. Additionally, a kiosk takes care of your refreshments. Freibad am Elm opened on July 13, 1963, and was completely renovated in 2004/2005. Starting with the 2015 swimming season, a solar-supported water heating system will be operational.
