Freibad Dettum

A popular spot for kids, teens, and adults in the summer is the Freibad Dettum outdoor pool. To preserve this pool, the Freibad Dettum e. V. support association was formed in 2004 and has operated the pool since the 2005 season. The pool features a main pool with separate shallow and swimming areas, a 3-meter diving tower, a 1-meter springboard, and starting blocks. The local Dettum DLRG water rescue group also uses the pool in the summer. Additionally, there is a wading pool with a fountain so even the youngest guests can have fun. Freibad Dettum is open from May through mid-September. During summer break, the pool is open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.!
