Freibad Groß Denkte

Freibad Groß Denkte is an outdoor pool open in the summer, offering a beautiful view of the Harz mountains and the Asse hills. The swimming pool measures 25 by 12.5 meters and has a maximum depth of about 2.4 meters. Next to it, separated by a rope, is a 12.5 by 12.5 meter non-swimmer pool with a slide. There is also a children's paddling pool about 6 by 10 meters in size, which features a small slide for little kids. The pool area has a gently sloping lawn for sunbathing, making it easy to keep an eye on things. It is especially suitable for families with children but also welcomes all swim enthusiasts. During the season, the support association offers various activities (such as water polo and a kids’ fun olympics) that everyone is invited to join. The snack bar serves hot meals, drinks, ice cream, and sweets at reasonable prices to satisfy any thirst or hunger.
