Freibad Nassau

Freibad Nassau, beautifully nestled in the Lahn Valley, is a modern outdoor pool that was fully renovated in 2003 and is open from early May to mid-September. The pool offers plenty of attractions and has already drawn many visitors to Nassau. The swimming and non-swimming pools with a 50-meter lane are lined with stainless steel. A 12-meter-long wide water slide is the main attraction. In the expanded adventure area, you'll also find many water features like a water cascade, reclining water beds, massage benches, underwater jets, neck showers, water cannons, and a small slide for toddlers. A children's paddling pool with a water mushroom, a funny shower clown, and other water-spraying toys keep the youngest visitors entertained. The pool water is heated using solar technology to ensure pleasant swimming temperatures. Current water temperatures can be checked by phone at Tel. 02604/7177. Freibad Nassau offers a large sunbathing and play lawn for sun lovers. Starting this season, sun loungers are available for rent. For recreation, there are table tennis tables, volleyball nets, and small soccer goals. An Italian restaurant with outdoor seating on the pool terrace and along the Lahn provides visitors and diners with a wide menu for light and hearty appetites, coffee and cake, as well as cool drinks.
