From May to September, Freibad Tespe opens its doors for the outdoor pool season, inviting you to relax with a 25-meter swimming pool and a sunbathing lawn. Since 1984, the distinctive large red water slide has been a landmark of this family-friendly pool, standing over the area with its own splash pool.
The spacious sunbathing lawn offers plenty of room not only to soak up the sun but also features a small baby pool and numerous benches perfect for relaxing and picnicking.
Swimming lessons are regularly held at Freibad Tespe, catering to both beginners and advanced swimmers.
A small kiosk offers visitors a bag full of childhood memories – lovingly selected treats that bring back nostalgic feelings. And, of course, the essential portion of fries rounds out the perfect pool day.
In 2023, an important step was taken toward accessibility: a newly installed ramp at the pool edge now makes it easier for wheelchair users to enter, ensuring that everyone can truly enjoy the pleasures of Freibad Tespe.
