Freibad Vasbeck

Freibad Vasbeck in Diemelsee features a 15 by 25-meter main pool, heated to a constant 28°C by geothermal energy from a local biogas plant. This pool includes a stainless steel slide, a diving board, and four starting blocks. For younger visitors, there is a 3.5 by 5-meter paddling pool with a slide and a water-spraying turtle, shaded by a large sun sail. The spacious sunbathing lawn offers well-maintained grass, a covered seating area, two spring rockers, and a table tennis table. Natural shade from trees and additional umbrellas enhance the relaxation experience. The aesthetic design of the area is highlighted by attractive color motifs on the buildings and flower beds. The facilities also include a sauna cabin for about 15 people, a beach volleyball court, accessible rooms, heated changing cabins, and a diaper changing station. A kiosk provides guests with food and drinks. Parking and good access to public transport are available.
