Description
Fun and games on the beach
At the beach of Friedrichskoog, fun and games are provided nearly around the clock – all without extra charges. For years, the municipality of Friedrichskoog has not charged a beach usage fee, and that remains the same this year. Every guest can find their usual favorite spot on the dike. The green bathing beach offers several areas that flow gently into each other: a family section for children who want to enjoy the mudflats and playground, a section for dog owners, a nude beach, and secluded zones for those seeking peace and relaxation.
Beach chairs
The typical, comfortable North Sea beach chairs will also be available along the entire bathing beach this summer. They are set up without fences, so you can simply choose your desired chair and claim it – our service staff will then come to you and collect the rental fee.
Beach info
From May to September, there is a central beach info point where all guests – whether long-term vacationers or day visitors – can get information about current events, excursions, and much more. Here you can also rent beach toys for your children. The German Red Cross lifeguard service in the tower at the main beach entrance is staffed from June to August. Showers are available year-round, and the bathing water quality is tested every 14 days by an independent hygiene institute.
