Der Klettersteig „Gams Kitz“ - Klettersteig is compact and explicitly recommended as ideal for families with children and beginners. It has the difficulty A/B, is about 180 m long with around 90 m of elevation gain and is best from April to October. Short distances between anchors, good footholds on steeper sections, several viewing breaks with views into the Salzburger Saalachtal and a fenced rest area at the exit make it family-friendly. For families who want more thrills, there is the optional variant „Fürchti und Angsti“. As a bonus: climbing on around 220 million years old Dachsteinkalk with impressive rock formations. 🧗
