Gesundheits- und Therapiezentrum Friedrichskoog (GTZ)

The Gesundheits- und Therapiezentrum GTZ is the spa and wellness center in Friedrichskoog. Here, health, wellness, and leisure are combined into a holistic concept. The focus of our center is a comprehensive range of therapies, especially in sea-specific treatments.

These treatments using seawater, mud, or sea salt have detoxifying and revitalizing effects. The skin pores open so that the valuable minerals and trace elements contained in the sea can be absorbed through the skin.

All therapy services can be used as part of a spa treatment, upon presentation of a prescription for medicinal products, a prescription from your family doctor, or simply on vacation at your own expense. We are approved by all statutory and private health insurance providers. Whether as a publicly insured patient, private patient, or self-payer, our spa and bathing doctor will create an individual holistic treatment program tailored to your needs. The offerings at GTZ are rounded out by numerous wellness and prevention services.

Dive into the 32°C warm seawater in the seawater thermal bath. The seawater bubbles up from a source 102 meters deep to the surface. Massage jets and a waterfall massage your muscles as needed. The higher buoyancy of the saltwater makes you feel lighter and more mobile. Enhance your well-being with our Finnish sauna or steam bath.

Stay fit in our fitness room at the seawater thermal bath. After a one-time introduction by our therapists, use of the fitness room is included in the pool admission price. For guests with joint problems or similar issues, the therapists will create a tailored fitness plan.

Stay fit and healthy – have fun together. Under this motto, GTZ Friedrichskoog offers various exercise classes that are supported by almost all health insurers under the Prevention Act.

Relax after a tough workout with an underwater massage and end your day with a fitness salad at our bistro café.

You can only experience all this if you recognize your personal needs and receive offers for measures that are timed to your individual requirements, to restore the harmony between soul, mind, and body. We are happy to advise you! Here is the link to our homepage
