Grafschaftsmuseum Wertheim

The Grafschaftsmuseum Wertheim offers you a diverse journey through the cultural history of the Grafschaft Wertheim region. In five historic buildings, you'll find exciting exhibitions – from tiny buttons to large harvesting machines.

A visit is especially worthwhile for families: there is a special children's area called Kinderland – Zauberland, where little ones can playfully dive into the past. Additionally, there are two to three special exhibitions throughout the year and a wide range of events for all ages.

The permanent and rotating themes cover everything from rural clothing and blue printing techniques to tournament halls, caricatures, legendary paper cuttings, and the local history of water. In the Modersohn room, you can admire art and landscapes from the region.

With family tours and workshops, also specially arranged for school groups, there are plenty of opportunities to learn and experience together. The main building and many special exhibitions are wheelchair accessible – a plus for everyone with special needs.
