Groot Hus is one of the three museum houses in the German Sielhafenmuseum Carolinensiel and showcases the transformation of the harbor from a commercial port to a museum harbor.
The museum offers an engaging historical experience with interactive and multimedia elements that bring to life life at sea, the dangers faced by sailors, and the maritime daily life of captain families.
