Description
Built in 1964, Grugabad is the largest outdoor pool in the city of Essen, covering about 58,000 square meters. It was declared a historic monument on September 3, 2020. Located in the Rüttenscheid district south of downtown Essen, it is part of the Gruga complex, which also includes the Grugapark, the Grugahalle, and the Messe Essen exhibition halls.
