Swimming is a healthy sport that’s also fun. The 25-meter pool has five lanes with starting blocks. That means: Swim your laps at your own pace and get fit.

Hallenbad Illingen was completely renovated in 2008. Architect Eva Steinebach (Kaiserslautern) drastically reduced energy consumption, gave the pool a modern atmosphere, and improved functionality. Very active clubs (swim club, DLRG, BSG Illingen) and schools keep the pool busy and lively. Many sporting successes of the active swimmers and triathletes from the Schwimmclub Illingen started here. But recreational swimmers also enjoy it. Warm bath day on Tuesdays is very popular. You can also enjoy the sauna here. With over 55,000 visitors annually, Hallenbad Illingen holds a firm place in the region’s leisure offerings.
