Description

The Heimatmuseum is located in Baunach's old town hall from 1744 and offers an exciting glimpse into over 1000 years of city history. 🏛️

Here you can discover old tools from various crafts and agriculture, as well as admire valuable jewelry from the 8th to 10th centuries, which points to Baunach's early settlement.

The museum also showcases rural life, traditional crafts, and the Christmas custom of Möppala. In addition, works by Baunach artists are on display, including the painter and graphic artist Max Schnös and the painter Berta Reiser.
